3rd October 2008 - We have won business with a large scientific instrument manufacturer . Manchester has a long history of mass spectroscopy and surface analysis. Indeed in the early 90's it was acknowledged as a world centre for these technologies. Since then merger and buyout fever has made it appear that these technologies are more globally distributed. This may be something of a misconception. The name over the door may be US or Japanese but the staff and experts in the field of mass spectrometry are still here. Our early experience in the field is serving us well for this new project producing the overview and maintenance information for mass spectrometers.
12th August 2008 - Richard Pineger achieved Author-it Certified Consultant status. Richard is a keen exponent of component content management using technologies such as DITA XML and Author-it. Since discovering Author-it he was determined to become more involved and, following implementation experience and assessment, he is proud to announce that he has been accepted as a Certified Author-it Consultant and provides implementation experience and down-to-earth guidance for authoring teams converting to Author-it.
